1:30 pm – 2:30 pm Mental Health in the Workplace: Practical Solutions That Work and Return on Investment Considerations In this information session, internationally recognized thought leader in workplace health and productivity Dr. Amell will discuss the important topic of mental health in the workplace. The issues of anxiety, stress, depression, burnout and rustout will be covered through the lens of the evidence that employers, consultants and brokers should consider when choosing to enable this type of programming, as well as associated return on investment (ROI) considerations. Presented by Dr. Tyler Amell PhD, MSc, BSc - Faculty and Chief Health and Strategy Officer with Pacific Coast University for Workplace Health Sciences and MediKeeper, Inc.
2:35 pm – 3:35 pm Legislative Mid-Point: Critical Updates on Employee Benefits and Employer Measures This presentation will provide an update on the major issues currently in progress during the Session, focusing on key measures that impact employee benefits and employers. We'll cover significant developments that are moving through the process, as well as highlight those that have failed to advance.
